ASSESSMENT - PREVENTION - TRAINING
The strength evaluation in the Kineo System is performed through a computerized system that provides analysis of strategic points of muscle function, constituting an important auxiliary method for the investigation and injury prevention. It is capable of analyzing your structure, your movements, and your strength to better guide your physical activities and improve your performance, enabling differentiated muscular work activities, because it allows the programming of exercises with variable loads according to the actual strength you use in the different work angles, which avoids joint overload, reduces the incidence of injuries and makes the rehabilitation process faster and more effective.
In this context, it analyzes the inter and intra-muscular balance and the need for an adequate return to movement functionality, and sporting gestures, in post-injury or post-operative treatments, based on the objectives of the client and his multidisciplinary team.
Eventual muscular deficits can be objectively evaluated and quantified, facilitating and guiding the muscular rebalancing work.
The exam is performed in a piece of equipment similar to a bodybuilding machine, during the execution of the joint movement, the variables that compose this movement are recorded, such as peak and average strength, speed during the execution of the movement, muscle activation time in the peak and average strength, angulation or displacement of this movement, power and work compared to the peak and average strength as the total production during the execution of the repetition under analysis.
Virtually all joints can be evaluated, especially the knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle. It can be performed by any individual who is not in the early stages of a muscle injury, unconsolidated fractures, severe limitations of movement due to joint pain, pregnant women, hypertension or decompensated heart disease, aneurysms, or epilepsies.
Three strength tests can be performed:
- Isokinetic Test
- Isometric Test
- Dynamic Test

TRAINING MODES
The isotonic method is a training system that uses barbells, dumbbells or muscle machines.
- Differentiated Load
The Isotonic method of Kineo allows to use different loads in both, concentric and eccentric - Movement with INERTIA
The Robotic engine applies the same inertial effects produced by barbells and traditional body-building machines to the isotonic exercise. - “Variable Load” function, use of different loads in the concentric/eccentric phase of movement achieving particular muscle adaptations and/or a greater safety.
TRAINING WITHOUT INERTIA (NIT)
The NIT isotonic method ELIMINATES THE INERTIA and allows to fix a load that remains constant for the whole range of the movement.

Pain Prevention:
In rehabilitation the use of a viscous load, which varies as a function of the speed of movement, allows the athlete to avoid the occurrence of pain during activity and to proceed to a more rapid and effective functional recovery.
Supramaximal Eccentric Training:
Train athletes with very high eccentric loads, in complete safety. In a viscous eccentric training, when the eccentric speed increases, the load decreases.
Main features:
- The load increases or decreases as a function of the speed of movement and the determined viscosity level;
- Speed is not constant but depends on the level of force applied and the isotonic force;
- No inertia. When the movement stops, the load is instantly brought down to zero (maximum safety for thesubject);
- Ability to independently configure the load and level of viscosity in the concentric and in the eccentric phases;
- Unlike other methods, the progressivity of the speed-dependent load allows the athlete to use a load that always respects their neuromuscular condition and prevents pain.
The isometric workout is mainly used in functional rehabilitation, as it allows training the muscles without stressing the joints.
The Isometric Method consists in producing a muscular contraction, even maximal, without the shortening of the muscles and without moving the affected joint. It is used in functional rehabilitation because it is safe, modular, does not produce movement or joint stress and improves the recruitment of muscle fibers.
The Kineo system, unlike traditional isometric training:
- Allows you to perform isometric workouts at precise angles with constant control of the force expressed by the subject in real time (biofeedback).
The distinctive characteristic of the isokinetic method is that it forces a constant speed of movement, regardless of the force expressed by the athlete: this allows controlling the speed of execution independently of the applied force.
